Prompt: Bring one of the earliest forms of telling time back into the modern world. The design should serve a functional purpose while telling time. 

Every day, New Yorkers go to and from work the exact same way with rarely any change. This instillation interacts with the rising and setting sun, throwing different light combinations onto the sidewalk and down the staircase in the shape of an eagle . For those who go to work using this station, they have an interactive experience every day. Pedestrians can notice the position of the beak relative to the time of day to get a sense of the time. 

The $2 IKEA Clock

Prompt: Imagine Ikea has come to you to design their next $2 clock. Their current Rusch clock has been around since 2012 and they would like for you to design a new $2 clock.

This dynamic form aims to portray a sense of motion with the use of multiple sweeping faces and edges. The final version was made with vacuum forming, but the Solidworks file was made with the intention of injection molding.
